**Entry Level Mechanical \\(HVAC\\) Engineer**

**Position Summary**
Our Philadelphia, PA office is seeking entry level Mechanical Engineers to work within an integrated building design team\\. Entry Level Engineers will work alongside Senior Engineers in a fast\\-paced setting designing high performance HVAC systems in our core market sectors which include mission critical facilities, science and technology buildings, and corporate offices\\.
Specific Responsibilities
* Perform routine aspects of engineering requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles under close supervision\\.
* Works with senior staff to prepare technical drawings and specifications for mechanical systems\\.
* Assists in field surveys of existing facilities for renovation work\\.
* Performs engineering calculations including cooling and heating load calculations, psychrometric analyses, pipe and duct sizing, CFD modeling, and energy modeling\\.
* Performs construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects including conducting field inspections and processing of RFIs and submittals
* Coordinates work with engineers of other disciplines and architects\\.
* Uses computer\\-assisted engineering software and equipment to perform engineering tasks\\.
* Assists in the coordination of projects from conception \\(feasibility\\) through final plan preparations\\.
* Provides support to more senior design and engineering staff members as needed\\.
* Must be recent graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in the Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
* Master's Degree in above programs a plus
* EIT preferred
* Interest in building systems required
* Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills required
* Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management required
* Ability to work and thrive in a team environment required
* Strong problem solving skills required
* Ability to self\\-motivate and work productively without supervision required
* Working knowledge of Word and Excel required
* Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation preferred
* Knowledge of Revit preferred
* Internship/Co\\-op experience in the building design and construction industry is a plus
