Responsible for coordinating, organizing and preparing construction related documentation as defined in the construction contract and Scope of Services from Notice to Proceed through Close Out including submittal requirements and processing and quality assurance testing results.Responsible for coordinating and tracking the submittals of the contractor.Coordinate and process the contractor progress payments.Review inspection reports for compliance with established standards.Review bid package documents as issued by design consultants for omissions, clarifications required, and for coordination between design disciplines.Review General Conditions and oversee compliance by contractors.Assist the Construction Manager in the preparation and documentation of meetings.Coordinate and monitor all field directives and request for information.Assist in the preparation of all required Reports.Assist in the development and implementation of the Quality Assurance Plan and Construction Management Plan. Monitor engineer of record periodic inspections and reports.Participate in weekly construction meetings.Coordinate schedule updates.Assist in the administration of the construction contract.Determine that insurance, bonding and contracts requirements are properly executed and maintained.Assist in the negotiation, preparation of and review of all Field Directives and Change Orders.Assist in project close out and compliance with FAA requirements and standards.Associate or BachelorA?s degree, preferably in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Five (5) years of experience in construction and administration of large multimillion:dollar projects preferably at air carrier or general aviation airports. Licensed as a Professional Engineer preferred, not required. Good working knowledge of computers. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with others. Ability to obtain PHL:SIDA Security Clearance.
