Job Description
Primary Purpose
Under close to moderate supervision assists with a variety of marketing activities in support of the Company vision, mission, values and strategic plan. Assists in the creation, production and distribution of a variety of sales and marketing promotional materials utilizing various media. Responsible for loading the electronic product information to form the content of the Company Electronic Catalog Database. Performs quality assurance and analytics functions on the data to ensure the data is accurate and the collection of data is prioritized properly. Helps arrange events and presentations for a variety of occasions; i.e. sales meetings, trade shows, clinics, open houses, product exhibits, and training.
Primary Responsibilities
:Assists in executing marketing and sales objectives by participating in creation and distribution of a variety of marketing materials and coordination of multiple marketing programs and initiatives.
:Supports the company product catalog by gathering and compiling product images, text, videos, and other supporting materials for new and existing products from manufacturers. Loads the images, text, videos, and other supporting materials into the product database on an ongoing basis in support of publication deadlines and daily online data feeds and prioritizes based on the deadlines.
:Maintains brand standards for all materials produced by MEDCO or outside vendors.
:Assists in the establishment of publication and event schedules with the ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
:Creates product spreadsheet load files for bulk processing into and out of the catalog content management system and other back:end systems, and produces basic reports as needed.
:Ensures that this information is collected in a timely manner and maintains the integrity of the product database by conducting regular reviews of the database. Performs quality assurance function on all print and electronic materials, as well as the collected data from manufacturers.
:Participates in all aspects of planning and execution for a variety of events including researching venues, generating a list of possible expenditures, overseeing the
budget/expenditures, event execution, audio:visual needs, mailing lists, invitations, promotional materials, travel arrangements, and contract negotiation, event timeline/agenda, etc.
:Keeps and maintains organized and centralized folder for any meeting information. Designs and communicates follow up materials (e.g. surveys) to evaluate and improve event planning. Collects, analyzes, and reports data from follow up materials.
:May assist in the design, development, and maintenance of the Company website and weekly electronic promotions, i.e. email, fax, etc.
:Provides the appropriate oral and/or written communication to external and internal customers and effectively manages e:mail support for the e:catalog.
:Maintains a cooperative team environment and contributes to the Company team effort by accomplishing results and working to resolve issues, as needed.
:Observes and enforces all Company rules and safety practices.
:Within the knowledge, skill, and/or ability of the individual, performs such other duties as shall be required by management.

:Performs other duties as assigned.
:Event planning experience or related internship
:Superior oral and written communication skills
:Strong organizational skills with detail orientation
:Experience with MAC (InDesign, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Photoshop) and PC (MS Office)
