The Senior Analyst Community Affairs position will have responsibility for all activities associated with charitable contributions for assigned Janssen US commercial companies based in Titusville, NJ and Horsham, PA. This will include the review, due diligence, disposition, processing and documentation associated with all charitable contributions. This position will work closely with business partners responsible for local and disease state giving at the Horsham and Titusville campuses. While based in Titusville, the position will work in Horsham one day a week.
â¢ Interfacing with customers and nonprofit organizations surrounding our guidelines, requirements and status of requests using a variety of communication vehicles (GIFTS/IGAM database, email, telephone, in person and correspondence).
â¢ Conducting appropriate due diligence activities of charitable contribution requests to ensure all required documentation is accurate, complete and consistent with Healthcare compliance policies and other guidelines.
â¢ Analyzing contribution requests for funding, declination or referral, providing, where appropriate, preliminary recommendations for disposition to respective giving decision makers, recording disposition and related contribution details within contributions database (GIFTS)
â¢ Coordination and facilitation of contribution committee meetings and reviews, capturing and documenting all committee decisions.
â¢ Tracking and reporting charitable contributions provided against the charitable contribution budget
â¢ Initiating letters of agreement, shepherding any changes through legal, and processing approved donations within ARIBA and Totality.
â¢ Reporting and summarizing donations in the GIFTS system for analysis, budget versus actual reporting, and reconciliation to the ledger for external reporting requirements.
â¢ Developing and updating standard operating procedures and practices to ensure the efficiency and integrity of programs.
â¢ Managing other contribution related activities: journal ads creation and submission, internal/external website updates, and event participation
â¢ Minimum of an Associateâs degree or equivalent is required
â¢ Minimum of a Bachelorâs degree or equivalent is preferred
â¢ Minimum of four (4) years of business related experience is required
â¢ Strong Project Management and prioritization skills are preferred
â¢ Current or previous experience tracking spending against budgets is required
â¢ Current or previous experience working within a role with strong compliance requirements is required
â¢ Current or previous experience working with multiple business partners is preferred
â¢ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail is required
â¢ Superior written and oral communication skills is required
â¢ Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline driven environment is required
â¢ Possessing a work style that is collaborative, flexible, agile, passionate, self-directed and entrepreneurial in nature is required
â¢ Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
â¢ Experience with integrated contribution database programs like âGiftsâ is preferred
â¢ Experience with Ariba, Aravo, and Totality is preferred
â¢ This position will be located in Titusville, NJ and will require travel/work to our Horsham, PA campus 1 day a week and approximately 5% domestic travel to other locations
