Job Summary 13;
Responsible for overall operation of assigned Divisional clinic space to ensure efficient, cost effective, high quality patient care. Includes development and monitoring of operational systems, supervision of support staff, monitoring and maintenance of information systems, patient scheduling and registration, charging and cash collection, problem resolution and patient flow.
Job Responsibilities 13;
:Ensures service excellence in all aspects of site operations. Responsible for managing all daily operations of the site. Implements site policies and procedures. Ensures all areas of accountability are compliant with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
:Works with nursing, physicians/clinicians and ancillary staff to ensure smooth patient flow while managing daily schedules and staff.
:Oversees the ordering and usage of supplies following cost control guidelines of the department and hospital.
:Participates in recruitment, orientation, training, performance reviews and retention of staff while providing a clean and safe environment.
:Facilitates ongoing space maintenance and repairs to maintain a safe working environment
:Assists with registration, payment collection, posting and payment reconciliation (cash drawer) on an as needed basis.
:Assists with scheduling patient appointments, pre:registration, benefit verification and financial counseling on an as needed basis 13;
Required Education and Experience 13;
Required Education: High School/GED
Required Experience: 5 : 7 years of supervisory experience.
Preferred Education, Experience and Cert/Lic 13;
Preferred Education: Bachelors Degree
Additional Technical Requirements 13;
:Must possess strong understanding of practice management/medical office processes.
:Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are required.
:Must have demonstrated leadership experience with teams and/or projects and be able to problem solve effectively and work compatibly with physicians and other staff members.
:Outstanding customer service skills and a commitment to patient and family centered care are required.
:Excellent computer skills with previous experience with EHR required.
