Janssen Research and Development, L.L.C., a member of Johnson and Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Clinical Scientist, Neuroscience, located in Titusville, NJ.

The Clinical Scientist will be:
â¢Responsible member of a clinical team dedicated to the development and execution of medical strategies and the clinical and operational implementation of complex compound and novel solutions development programs.
â¢Provide active medical and scientific contributions to a cross-functional clinical team developing and providing support for clinical development activities.
â¢Povides input to the clinical development plan, works on the development of the clinical trial protocol(s), clinical trial materials, and takes ownership for the content of clinical study reports and relevant documents for regulatory filings.
â¢Team matrix interactions include project planning, project management, regulatory affairs, commercial, data management, medical writing, biostatistics, medical affairs, clinical pharmacology, global clinical operations, market access, epidemiology and other scientific and business related disciplines.
â¢May be asked to contribute to the evaluation of licensing and scientific opportunities in the therapeutic area, and may participate in due-diligence activities.
â¢This position will report to the Clinical Leader of the Neuroscience Therapeutic Area.
The Essential Functions for the Clinical Scientist are:
â¢Responsible for medical monitoring/reporting and all clinical aspects of clinical trials
â¢Works on clinical development plans, trial protocols and takes ownership of clinical study reports and other related documents
â¢Evaluates adverse events (pre and post-marketing) for relationship to treatment
â¢Assists Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance in determining requirements for any corrective actions or health authority reporting
â¢May act as a medical contact at the company for health authorities concerning clinical/medical issues
â¢Interprets, reports and prepares oral and written results of product research, in concert with senior clinical personnel, in preparation for health authority submissions
â¢May also represent the company on scientific and medical matters at scientific congresses, the media and regulatory authorities
â¢A minimum of a Bachelorâs degree is required.
â¢Advanced training (i.e. RN, BSN, Masters, PharmD, PhD, etc) is required.
â¢A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required
â¢A minimum of 2 years of experience working in clinical trials is required.
â¢Experience in Neurology, Psychiatry or Neuroscience is preferred.
â¢This position may require up to 10% annual travel (domestic and international).
