The Sr. FP and A Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting consolidated operating and financial planning efforts for Lincoln Financial Network (LFN), including: monthly/quarterly/annual earnings, annual operating plans and long:term financial plans, strategic business reviews, direct support of new initiatives, and various ad hoc projects. The role is also responsible for developing presentations around company financial performance to Corporate Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
:Prepares monthly and quarterly Financial packages (including Actual results and Business Reviews) for Senior Management in both LFN and broader Lincoln
:Creates, enhances, and presents consolidated LFN analyses or trends on key business drivers and metrics
:Prepares consolidated LFN annual plan presentations, including Strategic, Sales, Expense, and Financial plans
:Develops ability to craft executive:level Financial messages, insights, and results for internal and external customers
:Execute on standard and ad hoc deadline:sensitive Financial requests with minimal instruction and oversight
:Provides management with a complex and comprehensive financial perspective, including potential mitigation solutions, for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
:Evaluates financial information to develop and deliver complex, standard, and ad:hoc financial analysis
:Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assess the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
:Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
:Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
:Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
:Provides direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
:Provides subject matter expertise and support to the financial analysis team in the preparation and delivery of complex financial information for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility
:Serves as a subject matter expert to team members and internal stakeholders on complex analysis of financial information.
:Directs and/or participates in departmental or enterprise wide projects.
:Undergraduate degree or 4+ years of comparable work experience
:5:7 years of experience in the financial services industry that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities
:Strong working knowledge of finance and accounting
:Must be inquisitive and solve problems creatively
:Must be able to interact with all levels of management and be an integral team player
