Day to Day Responsibilities:
:Full ownership of cold end finishing performance for process, equipment and operation.
:Utilize data analysis, problem solving, and process management tools to characterize and optimize key product and process variables to improve quality and manufacturing performance
:Provide guidance to Process Engineering group on setup of process control and process discipline.
:Work with other team members to solve difficult technical, engineering related problems
:Establish goals and objectives in conjunction with Group Leader and help identify/prioritize engineering activities in process engineering to achieve the said objectives.
:Assist in planning, executing and documenting experimental design program.
:Review and analyze performance, product data, process data, respond to the result.
:Support operations personnel via problem analysis, data analysis, out:of control action plans, and provide training as needed.
:Support quality, process engineering, and customer engineering via resolving customer complaints, defining process capabilities and other activities as needed.
:Support Equipment Engineering in defining and analyzing equipment performance, capability, and requirements.
:Increase plant awareness of process control efforts and methodology.
:Provide problem solving support (both process and equipment) to production operations
:Train operations personnel on equipment and processes
:Use rigorous processes and technical knowledge to build detailed technical understanding and documentation for key process steps
:Assure safety of operators and equipment and comply with safety and environmental regulations
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Education and Experience:
:BS or MS in Engineering (Materials, Mechanical, Chemical)
:3:5 years of manufacturingexperience (can include internships and co:ops)
:Familiar with BOM (basic of manufacturing), KT problem solving, and statistical data analysis.
:Good trouble shooting skills
:Good presentation and reporting skills
:Familiar with SPC and DOE tools
:Good discipline (PCPD and 5S)
:Have a strong ownership of achieving plant goals
:Fix problems with timing, cost saving, data:driven, and detail oriented results.
:Can work independently and also work well within team group
:Good communication, coord
