Job Title : Learning and Development Specialist

JOB Description:

Experience/Education Guidelines
:1:3+ years of demonstrated operations experience, customer service experience preferred training and development experience including classroom training.
:General knowledge and understanding of learning theories, facilitation and stand up training skills.
:Ability to learn new systems, applications and behavioral skills quickly without much direction or training.
:Proven ability to convey complex ideas and information in a simple, direct, easily understood manner with associates at all levels within the organization.
:Gives full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
:Able to select and use
training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when teaching new things.
:Able to motivate, develop and direct people as they work while monitoring and assessing performance, understanding and application of learned information.
:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, computer, technology, and presentation skills required, with an overall knowledge of Customer Service practices.
:Proven skills in problem solving, conflict resolution and dealing with difficult people.
:Demonstrated ability to effectively work on multiple assignments, activities or projects as required.
:Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
: The Learning Specialist : implements training programs using multiple learning methods, including on:the:job, classroom, virtual, and blended learning delivery, based on adult learning principles and business needs.
:This role directly supports the development of functional excellence associates across Customer Service.
Work Activities
:Develops an expert level knowledge in specific IBC FOC business systems and processes, including new products and product enhancements, as well as related policies and procedures;
:Motivates associates to perform at their highest ability to achieve company and department goals
:Actively collaborates with IBCU team members to ensure quality, accuracy and relevance of learning materials.
:Partners with IBCU all developed course materials.
:Oversees learning program announcements, and communications for upcoming training
:Assesses and reports on employees successful completion of training
:Manages logistics, scheduling, and attendance tracking for virtual and traditional classroom based classes.
:Monitors enrollments, maintains waitlists, and records completions/no shows/scores
:Administers participant surveys and evaluates progress against performance standards.
