Job Summary 13;
The Assistant Director (AD) of Corporate and Foundation Relations is part of Childrens Hospital of Philadelphias CFR team whose primary goal is to secure corporate and private foundation gifts benefiting the Hospital and Research Institute. Working with the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, the incumbent will be responsible for planning and administering CHOPs Corporate Council meetings (2 per year) and implementing all related communications for this executive advisory group.

S/he will also help manage corporate volunteer activities in partnership with CHOPs Volunteer Office and will serve as point:of:contact for the CHOP Foundation in his/her role. The AD is a self:starter who is responsible for prospecting, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding an assigned portfolio of corporate and foundation prospects on behalf of CHOP. S/he will be able to work independently and will help organize a diverse set of events, activities, meetings and programs to support the fundraising goals of the CFR team.

:Responsible for portfolio of corporate and foundation prospects;
:Prospect and solicit corporate and foundation grant opportunities;
:Write, edit and review, letters, proposals and stewardship reports
:Plan and organize CHOP Corporate Council meetings, events and communications
:Oversee corporate volunteer activities across the enterprise
:Schedule and coordinate activities;
:Match corporate volunteers to organizational needs and opportunities;
:Serve as point of contact with CHOP Volunteer Office
:Other duties as assigned by the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations 13;
Required Education and Experience 13;
Required Education: Bachelors Degree

Required Experience:
: A minimum 4:5 years professional experience
:Relevant professional expertise in business development, healthcare and/or corporate relations
: Evidence of strong writing and communication skills 13;
Preferred Education, Experience and Cert/Lic 13;
Preferred Experience:
Fundraising experience preferred
: Volunteer coordination experience
13;
Additional Technical Requirements 13;
: Working knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office a requirement. Knowledge of Raisers Edge preferred
