Provide service to external customers in a timely, accurate, professional manner, emphasis on customer care and ensuring customer satisfaction. Results oriented. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSOutstanding communication presentation skills, positive attitude, strong technical and mechanical aptitude. Strong working knowledge of pool/spa operation including significant experience in pool/spa product installation and repair. Working knowledge of MS Office software, and email software. Must have clean driving record and basic hand tools. Must take direction well, and follow instructions carefully, but also must be comfortable using common sense and personal judgment in the course of assisting customers. Must be able to schedule service calls, perform service calls, and manage calls in a organized fashion. Educate dealers and pool owners on proper product installation, operation, maintenance and service. Deliver product training seminars as requested for dealers and warranty centers during the off season with class sizes varying from 5 25 students. Instruct dealers on Zodiac s warranty guidelines and claims processing procedures. Represent Zodiac at local and national trade shows and seminars, in conjunction with Zodiac sales and marketing personnel. Work closely with Zodiac sales managers to help promote Zodiac products and services. Up to 75% travel. Position reports to Territory Service Manager OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals, write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form, ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. QUALIFICATIONSA minimum of five years of industry experience is required, in addition to significant customer service experience. REQUIREDHigh school diploma required. At least some college education preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to read and write, sit, walk within the facility to access file cabinets, documents ,stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 10 pounds. They also occasionally move objects weighing up to 20 lbs., and sometimes, but rarely, up to 50 lbs.
