This position will provide support to the global Supply Chain organization. In this role, the manager will manage several contributors who lead key supply chain projects, deliver daily/weekly reports and manage supply chain planning data in SAP. This position also includes planning, developing and delivering training across the supply chain organization both domestically and internationally. This manager along with his/her peers will participate in the development of end to end supply chain improvement initiatives driving towards company KPIs.
:Lead staff of supply chain analysts who provide critical daily reporting to the supply chain organization.
:Coordinate supply chain projects across the organization. Provide tracking and progress of key projects for reporting to leadership.
:Prepare, coordinate and administer training for new supply chain contributors.
:Analyze and interpret data to develop actionable supply chain initiatives
:Assist in development of supply chain visualization dashboards which will improve the overall end to end supply chain and provide detailed information to end users
:Lead and or support the development of supply chain KPI dashboards.
:Lead assigned customer collaboration efforts in support of improved end to end supply chain performance
:Maintain open dialogue with other functional business areas to coordinate activities and improve end to end supply chain performance and productivity.
:Participate in development of company supply chain strategy. Support or lead resulting efforts.
:Benchmark latest supply chain management best practices and improvement strategies such as supplier collaboration tools, CPFR tools, etc.
:Understanding end to end supply chain principles, SAP experience highly desired
:Ability to manage direct staff of supply chain analysts.
:Must be a data driven decision maker.
:Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite : Advanced Excel Skills necessary. Powerpoint desirable. LEAN training a plus
:Proficiency within ERP/MRP environments. SAP ECC and APO a plus.
:Effective communication both oral and written. Professional presentation skills are required.
Must be detail oriented, highly organized, resourceful, and work well within a team environment
Physical Requirements: Capability to lift 50 pounds.
Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen.
Noise level is usually moderate.
