Then this position might be the right fit for you As the Revenue Cycle Application Manager you will be responsible for developing, planning, organizing and implementing current and future technology strategies to bill clients, payers, and third parties, process payments, minimize bad debt, improve cash flow and manage the overall revenue cycle management process inclusive of supporting vendors and all technology. Responsible for day:to:day activities of the technology to support revenue cycle functions which include but are not limited to service offices, billing, collections, and cash applications This position will work with the leaders in contracts, authorizations, managed care, finance, billing, collections and cash applications to meet short term strategic goals and will provide analytical analysis and create written guidelines, policies, and procedures in accordance with implementation of all work processes as a result of thorough analysis.As the Healthcare Revenue Cycle Application Manager you will: Manage all activities and functions of staff involved with support, maintenance, and implementation of new and/or existing applications. Maintain and coordination of projects, schedule and resources Ensure the adequacy and appropriateness of processes surrounding current applications. Ensure prompt, high:quality resolution of end:userA?s problems, questions, concerns, and issues. Review Incident Reports to identify ongoing problems or trends and to propose approaches to improving service. Develop a vision, implement, and maintain the strategy for assigned IT application set.Develop and maintain IT application governance model. Adhere to established change management procedures for specification, development and production implementation practices Directly supervise, evaluate, establish and maintain goals and objectives for IT application support team.Mentor and guide IT application support team to improve technical and consultative skills. Perform business process improvement activities end:to:end on the Contract to Cash Revenue Cycle Management processes;Identify, vet, and gain stakeholder approval to institute changes in processes to effectively meet measurable goals such as DSO, DCO, days to collectThe qualifications for the Healthcare Revenue Cycle Application Manager are: Four (4) year college degree in Information Systems or a related discipline2+ years of Supervisory / Management experience with direct reports5+ years of experience with EDI Healthcare transactions, accounts receivable, collections, and cash applicationsMinimum five (5) yearsA? experience working in Information Technology providing applications and hardware support. Committed to providing excellent customer service in a fast paced, multi:tasking environment.Experience in an IT Architectural role, performing data modelling and working with experts in integration, data warehousing, and application development.Ensure complete documentation of EDI maps and business edits.Experience with the leading vendors and clearinghouses such as Emdeon/Change Healthcare, Ability, Zirmed, Health Fusion, HDX, AvailityManage the execution of user acceptance testing for Healthcare EDI Transactions (ANSI X12N 835, 837, 997/999, 270/271, 276/277, and 278)Experience leading technical solutions for Authorizations, Eligibility and Benefit Inquiry solutions, Billing Solutions, Accounts Receivables, Remittance, and Cash ApplicationsKnowledge of UB004 and CMS 1500 form layouts, HIPAA 837, 835Preferred Qualifications:Undergraduate degree Experience with text editor software (i.e., EDI readable format) BAYADA offers:Comprehensive salary, commensurate with experience.
