Information Technology Intern : Desktop Support, is a position reporting to the Helpdesk Supervisor, Information Technology. Specific focus includes supporting PC hardware and software for 500 full time employees at the Wells Fargo Center, 4 SkateZone sites and Talon Energy Park in Chester, PA. The intern will be responsible for working with the Desktop Support team to answer incoming Helpdesk calls and emails and will troubleshoot and resolve internal customersA? hardware and software issues. Provide Desktop Support Services (hardware, software and mobile device) to 500+ employees at the Wells Fargo Center and Skate Zone sites. Perform hardware and software troubleshooting with customers via the phone and in:person; some travel to local sites supported by Spectacor IT is required.Configure via Desktop Imaging system new hardware for all new PCA?s on the Spectacor domain. Assist Desktop Support Team with license management and asset managementProvide assistance in moving and re:installing equipment when required. Develop and improve documentation to enhance and support problem analysis and resolution. Alerts Desktop Support team of repetitive issues and patterns they are seeing in the support environmentAssist in support of telecommunication system and mobile device administration with guidance and direction from the Director of TelecommunicationsEnsuring that cellular accounts across organization are configured with approved voice, data and texting plan.Maintain company voicemail database by ensuring that all names are reachable via auto:attendant.Maintain call accounting database by ensuring that call center sales reps are listed and programmed properly.Update local office database of telecom configuration. I.E., employee count, provider(s), phone type.Knowledge of Windows 7, Mac OS and MS Office 2010/2013 and PC network hardware functionality, troubleshooting and repair requiredPossess the highest integrity and ethical standardsDemonstrated ability to function in a multi:task environmentOutstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to work across all functionsAbility to work closely and cooperatively with internal and external contactsAbility to create support documentation for all supported applicationsExcellent Telephone SkillsExperience and/or an understanding of the following is a plus, but not necessaryMS AccessCall Center operationPBX (Avaya IP Office, CS1000, Call Pilot)Minor programing to find port information for electricians.Cellular application integration (Aps, OWA, ITunes, Apple IDs) COMCAST SPECTACOR IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYMENT EMPLOYER
