The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for engaging with business and technology for analysis, planning, requirements gathering and logical design of a software product by working with internal and external customers\\. Employees in this position must understand develop an understanding of current products and technology in order to design and implement solutions to meet business needs\\.
Business Analysis Planning & Monitoring
oSelects appropriate business analysis approach
oEvaluates project complexity, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies
oIdentifies critical players and determines influence and relationship needs
oManages Requirements Approval and Change
oIdentifies and communicates risks and issues that may require changes to plans or scope
oImproves Business Analysis performance by taking preventative and corrective action
oComplies with and upholds organizational standards
oResponds to changing organizational priorities
Elicitation
oObtains needed information from customers to form requirements
oCaptures information provided in elicitation sessions
oValidates requirements with customer
Requirements Management & Communication
oManages changes to requirements
oManages conflicts and issues to resolution
oTraces requirements from business case to implemented solution
oPrepares Requirements Documentation
oPresents requirements in understandable format
oAssesses impacts of changes to requirements
Requirements Analysis
oPrioritizes requirements effectively based on factors including business value, cost to deliver, time constraints
oOrganizes and synthesizes large amounts of information provided by customers
oUnderstands appropriate use of various analysis techniques
oDevelops abstract models that describe a business domain
oIdentifies and communicates factors other than requirements that affect which solutions are viable
oEnsures that all requirements support the delivery of business value, fulfills goals and objectives, and meets a customer need

**Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Compute Information Systems or related fields or equivalent work related experience\\.
Minimum Experience:
4\\+ years experience in software application development, product management or business systems analysis
A software programming background preferred but not required
