About the Job


Hogan Security Group is looking for a motivated entry-level assistant project manager & dispatcher to join our high-performing team


Your primary responsibility is to maintain service technician daily and on-call schedules, coordinate sourcing of materials, and maintain inventory to support our team of skilled locksmiths and access control technicians.

Job Responsibilities

Update projects through various statuses from purchase orders to invoicing

Schedule projects from installations to service calls by working with job contact

Dispatch technician’s work load for the week

Purchase material related to each project

Confirm shipping and receiving for material

Maintain inventory

Communicate with sales for sourcing of equipment for upcoming projects

Communicate with technicians closely throughout the day to closeout projects and source additional materials for current projects

Provide accounting with accurate billing information

Maintain client database with current information


High school diploma or GED

Valid drivers license

Ability to appreciate the business and management principles involved in planning, organizing and prioritizing people prospects and resources

Strong computer skills i.e. Microsoft Office inc Word, Excel, SharePoint & Bluebeam and ability to learn new industry software and systems

Real-time problem solving and trouble-shooting with high attention to detail

Integrity always and sense of personal responsibility

Punctuality, sense of urgency and initiative

Responsive and calm in dealing with unexpected or unusual problem situations

Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Highly professional telephone manner when dealing with colleagues, clients, vendors – we’re a people business

Highly organized, efficient and able to crush designated deadlines, excellent follow-up and ownership of projects from beginning to end

Able to pass federal and state background and drug check


College-level coursework in business/project management is desirable, as is experience in the construction industry or technical fields
