This individual will work on both business and individual tax returns and related planning for a wide variety of clients. The position also involves tax research and will involve collaboration with other associates to help build client relationships.Responsibilities include:Respond to client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate, positive and professional mannerPrepare client correspondence, letters, e:mail, or other communications pertaining to engagement planning and requestsPrepare individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns and projections in accordance with firm and professional standards as directed by engagement leadersResearch tax issuesCommunicate with engagement leaders regarding open items or other important matters in a timely mannerAdhere to prescribed budgets and deadlinesDevelop technical competencyAdditional ResponsibilitiesRecognize potential issues and/or opportunities in engagements and discuss with engagement leaderPerform a limited number of tax return interviews as neededProvide technical assistance to clientsParticipate in core CPE programsActively participate in community activities to develop positive relationships with community leaders and membersActively participate in firm sponsored events for assigned product line clients and prospectsEssential Qualifications2:5 years of job related experienceRequires a Bachelors Degree in AccountingA CPA would be preferred in the respective state in which they are practicingRequires a valid driverA?s licenseWomen, minorities, veterans and individuals with disabilities are encouraged .
